About The Position

International Justice Mission (IJM) is seeking an Advocacy & Survivor Leadership Intern to join their 2027 Spring Internship class. This role will support global initiatives by assisting with project management tasks, including managing meetings, supporting advocacy projects, creating content for survivor leadership, improving processes, and providing administrative support. The internship is based in the Washington, DC area and can be fully in-person or hybrid. Interns receive a monthly stipend to help defray expenses, which is not considered wages. The program runs from January 11 to April 9, 2027.

Requirements

Completed at least two years of undergraduate study by the start of the internship
At least one prior professional internship experience or significant leadership experience in extracurricular, campus, volunteer, or community-based organizations
Ability to commit to a schedule consistent with the required time commitment (20, 30, or 40 hours per week during standard business hours)
Experience in project management or process implementation
Interest in survivor leadership and global advocacy initiatives
Awareness of cross-cultural contexts and communications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Mature orthodox Christian faith
