About The Position

Unity is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Program Manager to join our Advocacy team. This role will be crucial in overseeing our user groups, managing advocacy logistics, and assisting with the support of universities. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a passion for community building and technology.

Requirements

  • Experience in program management, community management, advocacy, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully organizing and executing large-scale events and programs.
  • Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Sufficient knowledge of English to have professional verbal and written exchanges in this language since the performance of the duties related to this position requires frequent and regular communication with colleagues and partners located worldwide and whose common language is English.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with academic institutions is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in the technology or gaming industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support Unity user groups worldwide, including planning and execution of meetups, hackathons, and events.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow user group membership and engagement.
  • Act as the main point of contact for user group leaders, providing them with resources, guidance, and best practices.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from user group members to continuously improve the program.
  • Oversee the logistics for advocacy activities, including organizing workshops, conferences, and virtual events.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners to ensure successful event execution.
  • Track and manage budget for advocacy activities, ensuring cost-effective program delivery.
