The Spartanburg Academic Movement (SAM) is seeking an Advocacy Associate to strengthen its advocacy impact. This role provides research, data analysis, coordination, and execution support for SAM’s policy agenda. The Associate will ensure SAM’s advocacy is data-driven, informed by policy, and reflects community experiences at all levels. Key responsibilities include supporting policy and legislative tracking, research summaries, coalition logistics, stakeholder follow-up, community feedback synthesis, and drafting communications such as policy briefs, white papers, op-eds, and presentations.
