About The Position
HealthEZ is seeking an Advocacy Specialist to join our Care Management team at HealthEZ! This individual must have a passion for helping our members through their healthcare journey with empathy and care while managing critical data, details and follow up. This role is based out of our Bloomington, MN office with hybrid consideration and reports to our Manager of Advocacy.
Requirements
- Associates Degree/ Medical Assistant Certificate preferred
- Follows and understand HIPPA regulations
- 3+ years of customer service or direct client experience
- Medical Terminology knowledge
- Previous experience in care management processes preferably in a health plan
- Strong Organizational, written and communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
Responsibilities
- Provides concierge service to members
- Work directly with our clients and provide stellar customer service
- Assist vendors and members with Medical Management requests/questions
- Open authorized case management files
- Open and monitor Advocacy Cases as appropriate
- Partner with Care Coordinator Manager to implement processes to ensure goals are met
- Assist case managers with various duties
- Monitor Intake phone line
- All other duties as assigned by the Advocacy Manager or Clinical Director
