About The Position

As an Advisory Information Security Analyst at Main Line Health, you'll play a critical role in protecting the technology systems that support exceptional patient care across our organization. Leveraging your deep cybersecurity expertise, you will proactively identify risks, strengthen security controls, and recommend innovative solutions that enhance the stability and resilience of our IT environment. This is an opportunity for a self-driven security professional to influence enterprise-wide security strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help safeguard the data, systems, and operations that our patients, providers, and employees depend on every day. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining a secure healthcare environment while driving continuous improvement across our cybersecurity program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8+ years of proven cybersecurity experience as a Security Analyst, Security Engineer, or similar information security role.
  • Demonstrated experience assessing and improving the security posture of enterprise infrastructure, systems, and applications.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex problems, recommend effective solutions, and execute with minimal direction.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • One or more industry-recognized security certifications, including: CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional), GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials Certification), GPEN (GIAC Certified Penetration Tester), Security+, SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner), ECSA (EC-Council Certified Security Analyst).
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity operations within large, complex, or highly regulated environments.
  • Hands-on experience with security assessments, penetration testing, threat hunting, or security architecture reviews.
  • Experience mentoring team members and contributing to enterprise-wide security strategy and best practices.
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred.

  • Serve as a trusted cybersecurity expert, partnering with technology teams across the organization to strengthen security, reduce risk, and support a resilient IT environment.
  • Proactively assess infrastructure, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend strategic improvements that protect critical systems and data.
  • Leverage experience in security operations, threat analysis, and risk mitigation to lead complex security initiatives, investigate incidents, and help shape security best practices across the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to safeguard data, systems, and operations.
  • Contribute to maintaining a secure healthcare environment while driving continuous improvement across the cybersecurity program.
