About The Position

This position is available only to enrolled American University students. Most student positions at American University are eligible to use Federal Work Study (FWS) awards, with a few exceptions. FWS funds cannot be applied to janitorial, construction, partisan or sectarian positions. DC Community Impact Scholars and BIPOC Scholars Advisory Board Chairs oversee their subcommittee by recruiting members, setting and running meetings, delegating tasks, and overseeing functions specific to their committee. Chairs also are expected to meet regularly as a group to coordinate their work. This position is open to DC Community Impact Scholars only.
