About The Position

Evoke Advisors, a division of MAI Capital, is seeking an Advisory Associate to join our team of Forbes- and Barron’s-recognized Advisors. Advisory Associates are integral members of the client advisory team, delivering exceptional service and operational excellence to clients. You will work closely with Advisors to manage client accounts and facilitate investment transactions. Advisory Associates work under the direction of Advisors and senior members of the service team, following established processes and receiving guidance as they build depth across our platforms, custodians, and client base. This role offers exposure to a wide range of asset classes and the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, growth-oriented firm. This position is based in the Century City office and requires five days per week in office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of client service experience in the financial industry, such as brokerage, another RIA, or a comparable environment
  • Solid working proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word (Mail Merge), Adobe, and PowerPoint

  • Experience with custodial platforms and CRM systems preferred
  • Fidelity and Schwab experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Owns the onboarding and ongoing maintenance of client accounts, including documentation, money movements, wire transfers, and private investment subscriptions; masters and follows the processes as documented
  • Executes and reconciles trades, resolving breaks promptly and accurately
  • Monitors daily custodial alerts and escalates anything that could affect a client
  • Prepares and processes custodian paperwork, tracks it to completion, and keeps clients and advisors updated on status
  • Coordinates tax documents with clients and intermediaries
  • Interfaces with private fund companies to facilitate client needs and fund company requests for information
  • Maintains accurate client records by documenting service requests and transactions in the CRM
  • Collaborates with internal teams, custodians, and client intermediaries (accountants, business managers, attorneys) to ensure a high level of service
  • Serves as a direct, responsive point of contact for assigned clients
