Advisor

RealmPhoenix, AZ
Remote

About The Position

Realm is seeking Advisors to join their remote team, based in Phoenix or Scottsdale, Arizona. This role focuses on guiding homeowners through the significant financial and emotional decision of home renovation, addition, ADU, or rebuild. Advisors act as the crucial link between homeowners, contractors, and Realm's technology platform, helping clients move from initial ideas to signed construction contracts with confidence in scope, contractor selection, and budget. The position is driven by Gross Merchandise Value (GMV), representing the total contract value of projects facilitated. It sits at the intersection of consultative sales, PropTech, real estate, construction, and marketplace operations. Unlike traditional sales roles, Advisors do not engage in cold calling; instead, they assist homeowners who have active projects and defined budgets, guiding them through complex, long sales cycles for tangible, life-changing projects rather than SaaS bookings.

Requirements

  • Based in Phoenix or Scottsdale, AZ (required).
  • 2–5 years in full-cycle sales, consultative advisory, customer success, real estate, mortgage, home services, PropTech, ConstructionTech, FinTech, or marketplace operations.
  • Proven track record of hitting goals and managing a pipeline through a structured decision process.
  • Commercial instincts to create urgency without being pushy.
  • High EQ to support stressed homeowners while guiding the conversation.
  • Strong organization skills to manage a full book of relationships without dropping threads.
  • Capacity to scale with the business.
  • Process discipline, understanding the importance of structured data capture, CRM hygiene, and playbook compliance.
  • Tech & AI fluency: comfortable with CRMs, Gong, and AI workflows, and early adoption of new tech.
  • Remote maturity: self-directed, proactive, and accountable.
  • Availability for homeowner needs outside standard hours, including weeknights and Saturdays.
  • Coachability: hungry to improve, apply feedback, and demonstrate growth.
  • Ability to consult, lead, organize, and build trust with homeowners making high-stakes decisions.

Nice To Haves

  • Construction experience is helpful, but not required.
  • Backgrounds in PropTech & ConstructionTech (CRM, construction software, contractor platforms, project management tools).
  • Backgrounds in Home Services (remodeling, roofing, restoration, solar, HVAC, design-build, furniture/home design).
  • Backgrounds in Real Estate (brokerage, new home sales, property management, title, escrow, mortgage).
  • Backgrounds in adjacent industries (insurance, financial advisory, hospitality, marketplace operations).

Responsibilities

  • Own an active book of homeowner relationships from end to end, guiding each from first conversation to a signed construction contract.
  • Manage projects spanning kitchen and bathroom remodels, additions, ADUs, full-home renovations, new home construction, and post-fire rebuilds.
  • Work with homeowners on projects ranging from $25K upgrades to $1M+ rebuilds.
  • Lead discovery calls with homeowners exploring various renovation and rebuild projects.
  • Scope projects against budget using Realm's AI tooling, structured playbooks, and internal data.
  • Clarify homeowner goals, priorities, timeline, and decision criteria.
  • Match homeowners with the right contractors based on project type, geography, budget, and fit.
  • Orchestrate bid sourcing and maintain momentum across homeowners, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Lead bid review conversations to help homeowners understand pricing, scope differences, tradeoffs, and risk.
  • Drive the pipeline through clear stages with weekly accountability on conversion and GMV.
  • Maintain clean records in CRM, utilize Gong for coaching, communicate proactively in Slack, and use AI tools fluently.
  • Be available for homeowner needs outside of standard business hours, including weeknights and weekends.
  • Navigate complex situations, including rebuild families dealing with insurance, displacement, grief, and major construction decisions.
