Advisor - Workplace Violence Programs

About The Position

The Advisor-Workplace Violence Programs is responsible for the strategic oversight, implementation, and continuous improvement of workplace violence prevention and mitigation programs across IU Health. Leads initiatives, such as SafeZone and other system-wide safety programs, designed to mitigate the risk of workplace violence and ensure a proactive, coordinated approach. Partners closely with public safety, clinical leadership, human resources, legal, and operations to support a culture of safety, ensure regulatory compliance, and deploy best practices in violence prevention across a complex healthcare environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience managing physical security systems, including access control hardware & software and video surveillance.
  • Experience managing programs or initiatives across multiple stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
  • Technical expertise in safety application deployment, management, and use.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree.
  • Experience with safety technology platforms (e.g., SafeZone or similar systems).
  • Certification in security, safety, or risk management.
