About The Position

The Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) is offering a fixed-term opportunity for an Advisor, Program Delivery within its Operations branch at the CATSA HQ, with a term up to September 30, 2027. This role is for career-driven individuals looking to contribute to CATSA’s unique culture and mission in air transport security. CATSA is a global leader in aviation security, responsible for security screening operations at 89 Canadian airports, and is a Crown corporation accountable to Parliament. The Advisor, Program Delivery is responsible for providing operational subject matter expertise, advice, and support for the delivery of CATSA’s primary screening activities and associated programs, along with other related duties.

Requirements

  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a specialization in Public Administration, Law, Social Sciences, Commerce, Humanities or another specialty relevant to the duties of the position
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in supporting project or program implementation
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience liaising with various stakeholders, analyzing information, writing reports, briefings notes and plans, and making recommendations to senior management
  • Experience working in databases and identifying system process improvements
  • Strong knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written); ability to tailor communications to suit a wide variety of audiences
  • Ability to persuade, engage and influence others
  • Strong research and analytical skills; ability to provide recommendations
  • Meticulous and thorough

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Providing operational subject matter expertise, advice and support for the delivery of CATSA’s primary screening activities and associated programs
  • Performing all other duties and responsibilities related to the position as required
