About The Position

The Advisor Practice Management Team provides practice management learning programs and coaching to top advisors and partner firms. We aim to be the business partner of choice by helping advisors grow and scale their practice. Utilizing Capital’s distribution reach and relationships, we reflect the skills and behaviors of top teams that drive growth. Guided by our proprietary Pathways to Growth research, our programs offer tailored learning to help advisors succeed, regardless of their career stage. We focus on practice-based, guided learning with measurable implementation, strengthening the relationship with Capital and fostering investment opportunities along the way. Advisor Practice Management Consultants (APMCs) engage with advisors through main stage presentations, national and regional conferences, workshops, and consulting with specific teams. We maintain noteworthy exposure in the industry, bringing Capital’s PM program to advisors through various physical, virtual and digital engagements. Our consulting services with top teams have garnered significant demand due to their ability to transform business and team practices. The APMC role requires leadership, teamwork, agility, flexibility, and creativity. It involves integrating practice management curricula, tailoring them for various engagements, and collaborating with internal partners to develop key programs. Credibility is key as you educate and mentor top advisors in topics such as leadership and team management, client acquisition, goals-based investing, retirement expertise, and more. Collaboration with our PM marketing team and other experts is essential for program development. This role demands public speaking skills, consultative, coaching, and interactive abilities. Activities are one-third in-person, with 75% focused on workshops/consulting. APMCs work in a collaborative, cross-functional team setting, refining the overall program with input from various Capital teams. They work closely with Strategic Relationship Managers to develop firm-tailored programs and across sales teams to deliver PM across each distribution channel.
