As a Trade Compliance Advisor, you will serve as a key subject-matter expert responsible for ensuring the compliant global movement, release, and commercialization of the company’s advanced technologies. What you’ll achieve As a Trade Compliance Advisor, you will be responsible for evaluating product classifications and managing licensing requirements to ensure compliance with applicable US regulations. You will work with Engineering, Product Management, Legal, and global business teams on the release, deployment, and international movement of advanced technologies, directly enabling global market access while protecting sensitive technology. Your guidance will shape compliant business expansion and support critical decisions across the product lifecycle. Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. Trade Compliance and export control regulations, including product classification and licensing processes.
  • Experience assessing classification of technology and associated products, determining licensing requirements, and supporting technology release or export authorization workflows.
  • Ability to interpret technical product information and collaborate effectively with Engineering, Product Management, Legal, and global business teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate regulatory requirements clearly.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience in Trade Compliance, Customs Brokerage, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end classification activities, including license applications, technology release reviews, and compliance documentation.
  • Partner with Engineering, Product Management, Legal, and global business teams to provide advisory support on export restrictions for products, technologies, and customers.
  • Support internal stakeholders with guidance on regulatory impacts, market access considerations, and compliance obligations throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate classification and licensing records while contributing to process improvements and best-practice compliance initiatives.
