About The Position

Merrill Wealth Management is a leading provider of comprehensive wealth management and investment products and services. This role, Advisor Development Program Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (ADP FSA I), is an entry point into a career as a Financial Advisor. The journey begins with obtaining Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 Exams), with dedicated study time provided. Once licensed, the trainee will learn foundational advisor skills, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, understanding complex financial pictures, and guiding clients with advice and solutions. The role involves humanizing financial interactions and, after key milestones, working in a financial center to deliver Bank of America’s core banking and investment solutions. Successful ADP FSA I individuals typically progress to a Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor (MFSA) role in a local Merrill Wealth Management office, where they build a portfolio of affluent and high net worth clients. The ultimate goal is to become a core Merrill Financial Advisor, with support from The Academy throughout the career journey. This position requires SAFE Act registration, including a background check, and failure to maintain registration may result in termination. Merrill is committed to an in-office culture with specific attendance requirements, while also offering appropriate flexibility.
