About The Position

Merrill Wealth Management is a leading provider of comprehensive wealth management and investment products and services for individuals, companies, and institutions. It is one of the largest businesses of its kind in the world, specializing in goals-based wealth management, including planning for retirement, education, legacy, and other life goals through investment advice and guidance. Merrill's Financial Advisors and Wealth Management Client Associates help clients pursue their financial goals through personal relationships with advisory teams. The company is committed to an in-office culture with specific attendance requirements, while also offering flexibility. Merrill values diversity and inclusion, fostering a work community that is culture-driven, resilient, results-focused, and effective. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including a background check, and failure to maintain registration may result in termination. The role is also subject to restrictions from FDIC, Safe Act, Loan Originators, and FINRA regarding criminal history. As an Advisor Development Program Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (ADP FSA I), the journey begins with obtaining Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 Exams), with dedicated study time provided. Upon licensure, the trainee will learn foundational advisor skills, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, analyzing complex financial pictures, and guiding clients with advice and solutions. After reaching key milestones, the trainee will work in a financial center, delivering Bank of America’s core banking, investment solutions, and client care. Successful ADP FSA I individuals typically progress to a Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor (MFSA) role, transitioning to a local Merrill Wealth Management office to build a portfolio of affluent and high net worth clients.
