Overview of the role: Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Communications, you will play a key role in bringing Saputo’s employer value proposition and corporate brand to life through impactful, multi-channel communications. As a trusted partner to internal stakeholders, you will develop and execute integrated communication strategies and content across digital platforms, including intranet, email, and visual channels, to engage employees in Canada and globally. Leveraging a strong digital mindset and creative approach, you will craft compelling, audience-centric messaging and translate complex information into clear, engaging, and visually effective communications that resonate with employees and reflect their needs and realities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in internal or corporate communications
  • Superior attention to detail and excellence in ensuring continuity of content and messaging
  • Excellent oral and written skills in French and English, including grammar
  • Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, concise and engaging communications
  • Ability to manage several projects at once and to work under pressure
  • Strong experience with digital communication platforms (e.g., intranet/CMS and email platforms)
  • Demonstrated ability to create visually engaging content using tools such as Canva, PowerPoint or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong empathy and a people-focused mindset, with the ability to understand employee needs and perspectives and reflect them effectively in communications
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across functions
  • Strong creativity and ability to develop innovative, engaging communication approaches and formats

  • As part of his duties, the incumbent will have to communicate and collaborate in English, both orally and in writing with colleagues or other stakeholders in Quebec as well as in the rest of Canada or in North America.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic communications advisor to stakeholders, proactively identifying opportunities to support business priorities and strengthen employee engagement
  • Apply strong critical thinking and editorial judgment to craft clear, engaging narratives tailored to diverse audiences across the most effective internal and external channels
  • Ensure consistency and integrity of Saputo’s brand across all communication channels and materials, maintaining high standards for content quality and visual identity
  • Develop and execute integrated, multi-channel communication plans and campaigns, leveraging intranet, email, digital signage, and events, to maximize reach, clarity, and engagement
  • Continuously optimize internal communication channels, including intranet and email platforms, ensuring content is relevant, user-friendly, and aligned with governance, best practices, and audience needs
  • Proactively explore and adopt emerging tools, technologies, and best practices (e.g., AI, Smart Brevity, visual storytelling) to modernize and elevate internal communications
  • Monitor and analyze communication performance (e.g., engagement metrics, readership, feedback), using insights to continuously refine content, channels, and tactics
  • Contribute to the planning and maintenance of the corporate editorial calendar to ensure cohesive, timely, and impactful communication across initiatives
  • Design and produce visually compelling communications (e.g., presentations, infographics, intranet features, email layouts) that simplify complex information and enhance understanding
  • Coordinate translation processes and ensure rigorous quality control to maintain accuracy, tone, and consistency across languages
  • Support and contribute to a range of Corporate Communications initiatives, events, and related activities as needed
