About The Position

You’ll love it here! We are hiring immediately for an Advisor - Best Buy Business to join the Best Buy Business team in our in-store Business Solution Centre. As an advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for local business and public sector customers visiting the store. You will work to understand their needs, recommend tailored technology and services solutions, and connect them with the right technology and Best Buy Business resources to support their goals. You will help customers navigate business purchasing, product selection, account support, and solution-based conversations across key technology categories. By acting as a trusted subject matter expert, you will help businesses discover what is possible with the latest technology while building strong customer relationships and supporting the growth of Best Buy Business in-store. Requirements

  • Strong communication skills, conflict resolution, high attention to detail
  • 1+ years sales experience, B2B experience
  • High School or equivalent
  • Flexible availability

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a consultative, solutions-focused experience for SMB and mid-market customers by understanding their business needs, challenges, and growth goals, and recommending tailored end-to-end technology solutions, services, and business programs.
  • Build strong relationships with local business owners and collaborate with the Best Buy Business sales team to support opportunities, demonstrate solutions, gather customer insights, and drive long-term engagement and trust.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-ready department by ensuring products are properly stocked, merchandised, secured, and supported with accurate signage and functional demos.
  • Continuously develop expertise by participating in company and vendor training, staying current on B2B technology solutions, industry trends, and service best practices.
  • Share knowledge with team members and support vendor-led events, training sessions, and initiatives to promote product awareness and expertise.
  • Consistently achieve performance targets while ensuring compliance with installation procedures, corporate security policies, and health and safety standards.
