About The Position

PlugShare is the leading EV charging discovery platform, helping drivers find reliable charging and helping businesses better serve the growing electric vehicle ecosystem. As EV adoption accelerates, PlugShare plays a critical role in making charging easier. We’re seeking a motivated, results-oriented Advertising Associate to join our growing team. This role supports the full advertising lifecycle—from prospecting and pre-sale strategy through campaign launch, optimization, reporting, and performance analysis. Reporting to the Advertising Director, this individual will help facilitate PlugShare’s advertising solutions, ensuring campaigns are strategically aligned, well-executed, and performance driven. The ideal candidate is highly organized, data-driven, process-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams.

Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
• Strong understanding of digital media channels, targeting, and performance measurement.
• Experience with Excel more advanced functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas, data cleanup) to support performance analysis and reporting.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, including building clear, client ready presentations to bring life to campaign results with data visualizations, insights, outcomes, and learnings ready presentations
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for clients.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Experience supporting pre-sale research, campaign setup, performance monitoring, or post campaign reporting
• Familiarity with digital advertising platforms, measurement tools, or campaign management workflows.
• High proficiency with data interpretation, reporting, and insight development.
• Experience with Google Ad Manager, Amplitude, Braze
• Collaborative mindset and comfort working cross-functionally both internally + externally with Sales, Ad Ops, Vendors, Business Development, and Data teams.

Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle advertising efforts, including pre-sale research, prospecting support, and development of client-facing materials.
• Partner with sales leadership to build and present strategic media recommendations aligned to client objectives.
• Educate clients and agencies on best practices to leverage PlugShare solutions, ensuring they feel supported and confident throughout every stage of the partnership.
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships through proactive communication and strategic guidance to identify growth opportunities.
• Act as a consultative advisor, reinforcing PlugShare’s commitment to partnership by anticipating client needs and thoughtfully guiding them toward best practice use of our tools and ad offerings.
• Partner with sales leadership to develop and present strategic and performance driven campaign recommendations grounded in clear KPIs and precise targeting.
• Lead seamless campaign setup and launch coordination across internal and external teams to ensure confident execution.
• Monitor pacing, delivery, and performance, proactively identifying opportunities to improve results.
• Facilitate client reports to execute midflight optimizations in close collaboration with clients, agencies, Ad Ops, and cross functional teams to ensure campaigns stay aligned with goals while maximizing revenue.
• Analyze campaign performance and deliver data driven insights, narrative storytelling, and post-campaign reporting that clarifies the “why” behind outcomes.
• Translate insights into actionable client education that builds trust and strengthens strategic alignment.
