About The Position

BBB Heart of Texas is seeking a driven, relationship-focused sales professional to join their Business Development team. This role involves promoting Better Business Bureau Accreditation and advertising solutions to small and mid-sized businesses. The position is high-impact and high-reward, with performance directly driving success. The organization is mission-driven, committed to advancing marketplace trust, and has a nationally recognized Business Development team.

Requirements

  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Proven sales experience (1+ year required; outbound or call center sales a plus)
  • Confidence in phone-based selling and relationship building
  • Strong communication and selling skills
  • Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Self-motivated mindset with strong time management

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with digital advertising, SEO, and social media
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Sell advertising products to BBB Accredited Businesses in your territory
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales goals and retention targets
  • Identify new opportunities and expand existing accounts
  • Establish and nurture long-term client partnerships
  • Maintain regular communication to ensure satisfaction and continued engagement
  • Become a trusted advisor to business owners
  • Educate clients on BBB products and services
  • Recommend tailored solutions to support their growth
  • Use consultative selling techniques and active listening to close business confidently
  • Meet daily activity metrics including call volume and talk time
  • Stay organized, responsive, and results-driven
  • Continuously improve through coaching and development
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams
  • Support company initiatives and uphold BBB Standards of Trust
