About The Position

At Humanitarian Experience (HXP), we design and operate humanitarian service expeditions that empower teenagers to make a difference across the globe. About the Role We are looking for an energetic, highly organized advertiser focused on taking the HXP story to the right people, helping prospective Builders and families understand the value of the experience, generate excitement, and support and execute various marketing projects to further the brand of HXP. The Advertiser will play a hands-on role in helping HXP grow by increasing awareness, driving interest, supporting registration sign-ups and upholding the high brand recognition we experience through various communities. This person should be comfortable representing HXP in conversations, events, and outreach efforts. They will also be helping behind the scenes with event execution. The ideal candidate is proactive, personable, mission-driven and excited to help more people find and join HXP.

Requirements

Comfortable speaking in front of crowds and 1-on-1; strong communication skills
Highly organized and dependable, with the ability to manage follow-up tasks and multiple moving pieces
Self-starter who is willing to take initiative and help make things happen
Team-oriented, adaptable, and excited to support both strategy and execution
Passion for HXP’s mission and a genuine ability to communicate its value to others
Ability to think strategically while also being willing to execute the day-to-day work
Highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and proactive

Nice To Haves

Marketing/Advertising degree preferred.
Previous experience in sales is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Help generate interest in HXP programs and encouraging prospective Builders and Parents to enroll.
Assist in filling open spots across registration.
Communicate with prospective families answering questions and providing information that helps them understand the benefit of an HXP experience.
Help identify opportunities to increase awareness
Represent HXP in a way that is warm, professional, enthusiastic, and aligned with the mission and values of the organization
Assist in sharing HXP opportunities through schools, communities, social channels, partnerships, and other audience touchpoints
Help plan, organize, and execute recruiting events, interest nights, information sessions, tabling opportunities, fairs, and other promotional events
Detail oriented, able to stay organized and keep track of various records and outreach efforts.
Support the Marketing Manager and broader HXP team in carrying out campaigns, promotional efforts, and recruiting initiatives
