About The Position

Join our team as an Adventures Guide for Blue Sky Utah, serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by assisting with guiding adventures activities and logistics including transportation, reservations, and guest services. The guide will be tasked with organizing and/or leading outdoor activities that primarily encompass sporting clays, hiking, biking, fishing, and assorted fitness classes. The expectation is that the guide will help to ensure that adventures are well planned and provide an experience that is fun, safe, and challenging to all guests. This job is a seasonal summer position for summer of 2026 (May-September). Opportunities at the end of the summer season may arise for a year-round position.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
Must have a passion for the outdoors and a desire to share it with others.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as an outdoor guide or in a related field.
Knowledge of local flora and fauna.
First Aid and CPR certification.
Experience with sporting clays, hiking, biking, or fishing.

Responsibilities

Lead and instruct guests in outdoor activities including hiking, target sports, and 4x4 off-road tours.
Ensure all safety protocols are strictly followed while providing excellent customer service.
Assist with the daily setup, teardown, and staging of equipment for all adventure activities.
Participate in trail maintenance, property upkeep, and general care of outdoor recreation areas.
