Adventure Counselor/Social Worker
About The Position
The Buckeye Ranch is seeking an Adventure Counselor/Social Worker to join their Day Treatment/Education program. This role involves providing social skills and problem-solving groups within the Adventure Therapy program, supervising clients, implementing team-developed interventions under clinical staff supervision, and supporting the program's logistical needs. The Buckeye Ranch is dedicated to restoring hope and providing healing for children, youth, and families in Central Ohio, addressing traumas caused by mental illness, abuse, or neglect through a continuum of care to empower them towards healthy, fulfilling lives.
Requirements
- You have a bachelor’s degree
- You have an active Ohio LSW, LPC, or MFT license
- You have previous experience as a therapist, social worker, counselor, or mental health provider
- You have an active driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Responsibilities
- Provides social skills and problem-solving groups in the Adventure Therapy program
- Supervises clients and implements interventions developed by the team and under the supervision of clinical staff
- Supports logistical needs of the program
