Advancement Internship - Events & Experience
About The Position
Auburn University’s Advancement Office is offering a full-time paid summer internship for Summer 2027. This program encourages students from all backgrounds to explore careers in the nonprofit sector, promote university advancement through fundraising programming, and engage with employees, alumni, and donors. The internship provides 10 weeks of work experience from May 12th to July 30th. Interns will earn $14.00 per hour. Internships are open to rising sophomores through May 2027 graduates from Auburn University and Auburn University Montgomery. There will be an unpaid vacation week from June 28th to July 2nd. Auburn University will also be closed on May 31st and June 19th.
Requirements
- Enrolled student at Auburn University
- Must live within driving distance of Auburn University.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, preparing, and delivering impactful experiences that engage alumni, donors, and campus partners.
- Participate in creative planning sessions and assist with on-site logistics for events.
- Attend weekly educational sessions led by subject-matter experts to gain knowledge in various areas of the Advancement industry.
- Prepare a final presentation highlighting experiences and projects completed during the internship.
