About The Position

The Advancement Coordinator is a full-time position that reports to the Director of Annual Giving and Donor Relations and provides high level administrative and project management support for the Advancement program. This person will be positive, nimble, and proactive, with an ability to communicate effectively, set and meet deadlines, and follow up effectively with partners. This individual must be able to handle confidential information responsibly and be excited to learn, adapt, and innovate.

Requirements

  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Ability to multi-task and juggle competing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suites
  • Comfort working in constituent databases
  • 1 – 2 years of professional experience

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate appeals and donor mailings, including preparing mailing lists, printing, labeling, and mailing
  • Produce acknowledgment letters, tax receipts, and pledge reminders for donations
  • Support Advancement Services Manager with gift processing tasks
  • Help input and maintain accurate constituent data in the donor database
  • Conduct basic constituent research and draft donor briefing templates for meetings
  • Engage directly with donors and families by sending thank you and reminder emails for gifts
  • Assist in preparing, providing on site support for, and following up from Advancement events
  • Provide general administrative support for the Advancement team as requested
  • Manage inventory and physical office space; purchase supplies necessary for office operations
  • Represent the Advancement team at key school events and other community activities
  • Act as a visible and enthusiastic ambassador for the school’s mission, vision and strategic objectives.
