About The Position

In a student employee capacity, this role assists with functions related to marketing trends, communications outreach, and creative design and production (print and digital). The position involves assisting with donor thank-you letters, emails, and acknowledgment mailings, supporting the preparation for donor meetings, tours, and events, and organizing/assembling donor packets, newsletters, and campaign materials. The assistant will help collect stories, testimonials, and program updates for advancement communications and perform administrative tasks to ensure regular donor communications. Additionally, the role includes creating content for social media to support Mission Waco programs, designing graphics and flyers, and providing general office and administrative assistance to the Advancement team. The position serves alongside the Associated Executive Director for donor support and communications, and the Director of Events and Communications to plan fundraising events, create marketing materials, and implement content strategies. This may involve attending special events and programs to create content for various facets of Mission Waco.

Requirements

  • Must be eligible for Federal Work-Study
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to operate a DSLR or 4K camera
  • Proficiency in editing with Adobe Premier
  • Experience creating content on design platforms

Responsibilities
