About The Position

We are looking for a talented Advanced Warehouse Operator – level II to join our team specializing in Shop for our Cummins Inc. facility in Rocky Mount, NC.

Requirements

• Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
• Ability to adhere to Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards.
• Proficiency in receiving, sorting, labeling, and storing goods.
• Skill in picking, packing, and dispatching outgoing goods.
• Capability to perform quality checks and identify non-conforming materials.
• Effective communication skills for team collaboration.
• Willingness to participate in training and improvement initiatives.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
• Understanding of environmental responsibility in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Accurately receiving, sorting, labeling, and storing goods to optimize warehouse space and ensure smooth operations.
• Picking, packing, and dispatching outgoing goods according to requests to meet customer expectations and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Adhering to Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards and using appropriate personal protective equipment to promote a safe working environment.
• Performing quality checks and identifying non-conforming materials to maintain high standards and minimize cost and quality issues.
• Operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently to contribute to the overall productivity of the warehouse.
• Recognizing and minimizing the environmental impact of your work to support the company's sustainability goals.
• Communicating effectively with your team and participating in training and improvement initiatives to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly work area and performing routine housekeeping and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
