About The Position

We are looking for a talented warehouse operator to join our team specializing in our distribution business in Houston, TX. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: - Under some supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse - Receive incoming goods, check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices - Accurately sort, label, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space - Pick, pack, and dispatch incoming and outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders - Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery - Perform cycle counts, prepare bills of lading, and use computer software

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift certified
• Experience in shipping and receiving
• Must be able to physically lift 50 pounds occasionally
• Wear required personal protective equipment
• Requires certification to operate powered industrial vehicles (reach truck, order pickers, pallet rider, etc.) and/or other heavy machinery
• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations
• Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience
