We are seeking exceptional Advanced Veterinary Assistants who will redefine the role by utilizing their medical knowledge and clinical skills in routine and urgent care. This position involves participation in surgical and dental procedures, managing appointments independently, and educating pet owners. Requirements

3+ years experience as a veterinary assistant
Proficiency in Venipuncture including jugular vein
Proficiency in IV injections
Proficiency in IV catheter placement
Proficiency in Radiograph positioning
Proficiency in Monitoring anesthesia
Proficiency in Dental prophylaxis and radiographs
Independent, unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer.

Responsibilities

Provide routine and urgent care using medical knowledge and clinical skills.
Participate in surgery and dental procedures.
Run appointments independently with assistant support.
Educate pet parents.
Focus on patient care, including handling, husbandry, client education, surgical/dental and anesthesia management, detailed record keeping, diagnostic management, medication administration, and emergency triage and response.
Collaborate with veterinarians and veterinary technicians to push the boundaries of veterinary medicine.
Attend monthly educational events and activities supported by Medical leadership.
Utilize innovative technologies and new medical equipment.
