Advanced Training Instructor - Electrical Safety
About The Position
Ring Power Corporation is seeking an Advanced Training Instructor specializing in Electrical Safety. This role involves delivering instructor-led courses to both Ring Power employees and customers, developing and updating technical training materials, and maintaining a suitable learning environment in classrooms and labs. The instructor will also be responsible for the upkeep and repair of training assets, traveling regionally for training delivery and conferences, and potentially participating in overseas training requests. Record keeping for training participants and customers is a key responsibility, as is assisting field personnel with diagnostic issues when requested. The position requires continuous learning through specific training courses and certifications to maintain instructor qualifications and manufacturer credentials. The role also includes other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 5-6 years of experience
- Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.
- Computer skills, Microsoft power point, Excel and Windows based operating system.
- Communication and presentation skills, ability to deliver content effectively.
Nice To Haves
- Professional licensing in a related field (Master/License accredited through state).
- Certification in related field.
- Applicable manufacturer’s factory training, technical training (electronic or diesel college, Think Big, CIAP), knowledge of NGEA (Next Generation Electrical Architecture), Tier 4 emissions, or air conditioning certification, MACS.
Responsibilities
- Performs instructor led courses for Ring Power employees and Ring Power customers.
- Develops and updates training materials on technical and industry specific subject matter.
- Ensures viable work space within classroom, electric and engine labs.
- Updates, maintains and repairs assets relating to instructor lead courses when necessary.
- Travels regionally to deliver or attends instructor led training and conferences.
- Voluntarily participates in customer overseas training requests.
- Updates and maintains training records for Ring Power participants and customers in EDGE and applicable manufacturer database.
- Assists field personnel on diagnostic issues whenever possible at the request of the technical coordinator.
- Attends specific training courses or completes certifications and curriculum as required to deliver course content as an instructor.
- Attains and updates all training credentials required by manufacturer to maintain status as qualification for technical instructor.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
