Advanced Tire Technician
About The Position
Tire Discounters is hiring an Advanced Tire Technician to replace, repair, and rotate tires on customer vehicles. The role provides hands-on training to help build skills for more advanced positions. The technician installs and repairs tires, operates tire machines and balancers, completes work orders, maintains the shop and equipment, assists customers and coworkers, delivers customer service, and contributes to a safe, collaborative work environment. Compensation is $14.00–$16.00+ per hour, with opportunities for overtime and weekly commission. Pay is issued weekly. Requirements
- Service-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.
- Team collaboration skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Available to work Saturdays.
- Authorized to work in the USA and at least 18 years old.
- Comfortable with occasional mechanical hazards and outdoor conditions.
Responsibilities
- Install and repair tires.
- Operate balancers and tire machines.
- Complete work orders accurately.
- Maintain and organize the shop and equipment.
- Assist customers and coworkers as needed.
- Provide outstanding customer service by meeting customers’ needs.
