About The Position
Tire Discounters is hiring an Advanced Tire Technician to replace, repair, and rotate tires on customer vehicles. The role includes hands-on training to help build skills for advancement into more advanced positions. The technician works with customers and coworkers, helps maintain a safe and collaborative shop, and keeps shop equipment and work areas organized. The stated pay is $15.00–$17.00+ per hour effective rate, including overtime, variable overtime, and a monthly store bonus; employees are paid weekly.
Requirements
- Service-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.
- Team collaboration skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Available to work Saturdays.
- Authorized to work in the USA and at least 18 years old.
- Comfortable with occasional mechanical hazards and outdoor conditions.
Responsibilities
- Install and repair tires.
- Operate balancers and tire machines.
- Complete work orders accurately.
- Maintain and organize the shop and equipment.
- Assist customers and coworkers as needed.
- Provide outstanding customer service by meeting customers’ needs.
- Promote a safe and collaborative work environment.
