Raytheon is seeking a high performing HR professional to fill a Human Resources Business Partner role supporting the Advanced Technologies Strategic Business Unit. In this dynamic and fast-paced role, the HR Business Partner will partner and collaborate with business leaders and HR colleagues across all of Raytheon’s functions and Center’s of Excellence to understand strategies and objectives while applying HR solutions in a proactive manner, consistent with the Human Resources vision and mission. The HRBP will collaborate with program managers and will advise and architect on topics including organizational effectiveness, change and talent management, compensation, and benefits. Additionally, in partnership with HR leaders and other business partners, the HR partner will provide leadership and support in the execution of strategic HR initiatives such as workforce planning, succession planning, employee engagement, and talent development. The ability to build relationships, execute project deliverables, exercise sound judgment and work collaboratively on multiple projects is critical in this role.

Requirements

Typically requires a university degree with 12 years prior relevant experience OR an advanced degree with 10 years of related experience.
Experience leading HR processes, providing solutions to meet business challenges, and coaching leaders to build the workforce.
Experience with HR business applications and systems, such as Workday, Qlik, and applicant tracking, or similar database and query tools.
Experience in working effectively in a heavily matrixed organization, with solid and dotted line reporting.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Translate business and HR strategies into operational and actionable plans

Actively partner to deliver the full scope of HR solutions including talent acquisition, performance management, leadership capability and development, compensation planning, employee development, succession planning, organizational effectiveness & organizational development
Educate business partners and employees on HR policy, process and practice to ensure effective execution and compliance with policies and drive execution of best practices locally
