About The Position

This position is for one or more 3rd Step Apprentice / Journeyman Lineman to be located at the Faribault Service Center in Faribault, MN. The role involves performing all duties of the Lineman Classification, including work on overhead and underground electric distribution and transmission systems. The ideal candidate will have a high-level commitment to safety, provide quality customer service, be self-motivated, and possess a positive attitude.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Degree/diploma from an accepted Line School.
• Meet driver qualification requirements, including the possession of a valid Commercial Class A Driver's License.
• Physically capable of performing all aspects of electric overhead and underground distribution construction, operations, and maintenance work.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Presently qualified to be a 3rd Step Apprentice Lineman or higher.
• Self-motivated and possess a positive attitude.
• Demonstrated commitment to work safely and productively.

Nice To Haves

• Must live within a 20-mile radius of the assigned Service Center.
