Advanced Software Engineer
About The Position
As an advanced software engineer for TCS, you’ll be a critical member and thought leader of a cross functional team responsible for developing and supporting mission critical tactical software for US and Australian submarines. This role involves engineering a diverse portfolio of high technology solutions, products and services that enable customers to successfully execute missions across all domains of operation. You will be part of a global team of top professionals, partnering with the best in industry to expand the bounds of innovation in the defense and scientific arenas. The work is research oriented, developing practical solutions for national security.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 3 years relevant experience.
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to quickly learn large and complicated software architectures.
