About The Position
Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches (MSPB) is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to support clinical efforts and provide exceptional patient care in collaboration with physicians and other health professionals. The position is located in Boynton Beach, Florida. A hospital environment is required; a combination of office, remote, and hospital-based work may be offered, and flexibility to work from different locations is expected. The role includes assessing patients, developing individualized care plans, ordering and evaluating diagnostic tests, providing prescriptions and medications, educating patients, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals, and maintaining accurate documentation. The practitioner must follow applicable regulatory requirements and MSPB policies and procedures. Requirements
- Licensed Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) with applicable state licensure and certification.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare teams.
- Commitment to quality care, patient safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Flexibility to work from different locations.
Responsibilities
- Perform history reviews, physical exams, and assessments to develop individualized patient care plans.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient health needs and inform decisions.
- Provide prescriptions, administer medications, and offer health education to patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Use clinical judgment to initiate emergency treatments in accordance with office protocols, consulting with physicians as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, CLIA, State Board of Nursing, and Federal DEA regulations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and follow-ups.
- Participate in required training programs and adhere to MSPB policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
