About The Position

Olympia Orthopaedic Associates is seeking an experienced Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to work directly with a well-established neurosurgeon specializing in surgery of the back, neck, and spine. The role includes work in both the clinic and the operating room, assisting with surgeries. Under a surgeon’s supervision, the practitioner examines patients, administers drugs, orders medical and diagnostic testing, diagnoses illnesses, and counsels patients and their families.

The position is based in Olympia, Washington, and is full-time. The starting pay range is $100,000–$175,000 per year, with bonus opportunities based on production and quality of work. OOA is a drug-free, alcohol-free, and smoke-free workplace. Employment is contingent on passing a background screen and pre-employment drug screen, which includes nicotine levels.

Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Washington state, or ability to obtain one before hire.
• Two to three years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in orthopaedics.
• Two to three years of surgical-assist experience.

Nice To Haves

• Surgical-assist experience in neuro or spine surgery is preferred.
