Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistants at Comprehensive are part of a multidisciplinary team that provides integrated behavioral health treatment to clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Collaborating with therapists, case managers, nurses and other members the treatment team, Nurse Practitioners/ Physician Assistants assist in developing individualized treatment plan for each client. Taking ownership of the pharmacological intervention, Nurse Practitioners/ Physician Assistants complete prescribe appropriate medications, and provide general medical counseling and referrals. Our medical provider team has the opportunity to meet weekly to staff cases and receives regular supervision from the Medical Director of Addiction. In this role, strong communication skills, the desire to work in a collaborative team environment, and the ability to establish trusting relationships with clients will be essential. We currently have a position available in our Yakima opioid treatment program (OTP). This position provides FDA approved treatments for opioid use disorder, including methadone, buprenorphine products and naltrexone. We also provide suport for patients medical and psychiatric conditions as needed.
