About The Position
As an Advanced R&D Optical Scientist/Engineer here at Honeywell, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge sensing technologies utilizing optical methods. With your strong knowledge of optical science and hands-on experience with laboratory experimentation, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of Honeywell as a global technology leader. You will report to our Director of Advanced Technologies, and you'll work out of our Richardson, Texas location. In this role, you will impact the company's success and growth by leading and driving the development of optical technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define optical requirements and specifications, designing and developing complex optical systems, and performing optical experimentation and simulations to enable new product concepts.
