Advanced R&D Engineer/Scientist
About The Position
As an Advanced R&D Engineer/Scientist here at Honeywell, you will engage in research and development activities to innovate and improve aerospace technologies. You will apply scientific principles and engineering practices to develop new products and enhance existing ones, contributing to Honeywell's leadership in the aerospace industry. You will report directly to our Senior R&D Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Morris Plains, NJ location on an on-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the advancement of aerospace solutions that improve performance, safety, and efficiency in commercial and defense aircraft, supporting Honeywell's mission to create safer and more efficient air travel worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and development activities to design and test aerospace components and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate scientific discoveries into practical engineering solutions.
- Analyze experimental data and prepare technical reports to support product development and innovation.
