DMNC Advanced Production Specialist Core Hours: 10:30 PM - 7:30 AM. A RESUME IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION. This role involves planning and designing manufacturing processes, improving production methods, and determining manufacturing capacity. The specialist will fabricate, modify, and evaluate manufacturing processes such as assembly and material handling, and may assist with time and cost estimates. Collaboration with other engineering groups to review drawings and designs during product development is key. The role focuses on developing and implementing process improvements to meet quality standards, solving manufacturing problems, and creating necessary documentation for personnel communication. Recommendations for manufacturing facility layout, including sequence of operations and equipment utilization, will be made. Researching new manufacturing methods, equipment, and technologies for potential implementation is also a responsibility. The specialist will serve as a technical resource for manufacturing and quality processes, proactively addressing issues to ensure project timelines are met. Ensuring compliance with safety laws and regulations for processes and equipment is critical. The role also includes delivering complex presentations, analyzing current processes for improvement, and recommending whether proposed changes should be implemented. Other duties as assigned.
