About The Position

As a night shift Advanced Production Machine Technician in Covington, GA, you will take ownership of high-speed production equipment, ensuring output is on target and quality is maintained. Your responsibilities include performing pre-checks, running your line to meet or exceed benchmarks for waste, quality, efficiency, and utilization. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues by tuning, aligning, and adjusting machine components. Additionally, you will mentor newer teammates, share best practices, maintain accurate end-of-shift records, and stay vigilant in spotting defects and upholding safety and housekeeping protocols.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of manufacturing or industrial experience with production equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving capability
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to maintain performance standards for waste, quality, efficiency, and utilization

Nice To Haves

• Equipment troubleshooting
• CNC machine setup and changeovers
• Setting up machines for production runs
• Experienced machine operation

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery safely and consistently at or above standard performance levels
• Diagnose issues and make precise mechanical adjustments to resolve them
• Recommend and implement practical improvements to stabilize throughput and quality
• Support and guide less experienced operators on the line
• Complete shift documentation for labor, equipment time, and output
• Inspect product, identify nonconformances, and correct root causes via machine settings
• Follow all safety, housekeeping, and standard work requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned
