About The Position

The Spinal Cord Injury and Disorders (SCI/D) Inpatient Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) provides attending-provider services to a panel of Veterans in accordance with licensure, privileges, scope of practice, or functional statement. The role delivers care through home visits and multiple communication and care-delivery methods, including secure messaging, telephone care, view-alert management, shared medical appointments, video telehealth, and in-person visits. The APRN collaborates with Veterans, families, interdisciplinary teams, and PACT staff to plan and coordinate holistic care, support care transitions and community reintegration, and improve outcomes for Veterans enrolled in the SCI/D Registry and home-care program. The position is generally scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Telework is not available.
