About The Position

Carolina Oncology Specialists is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its team as an APP Hospitalist in Charlotte, North Carolina. This part-time position focuses on inpatient rounding and supporting patients across the practice’s physician team. The provider will collaborate with multiple oncology providers and care for patients throughout their inpatient stays, gaining broad exposure to hematology and oncology care. Experienced APPs are preferred, while new graduates with a strong interest in hematology/oncology are encouraged to apply.

Carolina Oncology Specialists is an independent hematology and oncology practice providing personalized, community-based cancer care. Its collaborative team includes five physicians and more than a dozen Advanced Practice Providers, supported by an infusion center, in-house laboratory, and in-house pharmacy. The practice offers private-practice autonomy and flexibility, relationships with regional academic and healthcare institutions, and participation in tumor boards, advisory boards, and clinical research. It partners with OneOncology, whose shared resources and community-based research network provide access to clinical research and innovative therapies while practices maintain their independence and local focus.

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• NP-C or PA-C board certification.

Nice To Haves

• Hematology/oncology experience as an RN or APP is preferred.
• Experienced APPs are preferred.
• New graduates with a strong interest in hematology/oncology are encouraged to apply.
