About The Position

Join an experienced urgent care team in Owensboro as an Advanced Practice Provider. The role offers meaningful clinical autonomy within a supportive, efficient environment. Providers independently evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage patients, with access to administrative and clinical support. The position uses a user-friendly EMR and streamlined workflows. The schedule is three 12-hour shifts per week, with no nights, Sundays, or holidays. Compensation includes competitive base pay and a volume-based bonus structure.

Requirements

Licensed Physician Assistant (PA-C) or certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
Active, unrestricted Kentucky license.
Comfortable practicing autonomously and confidently managing a high-volume clinical environment.
Strong communication skills and a steady, compassionate presence with patients and colleagues.

Nice To Haves

One year of clinical experience in urgent care, primary care, emergency medicine, or a comparable fast-paced setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Independently evaluate and treat a broad range of urgent and minor conditions.
Order and interpret diagnostic studies, develop treatment plans, prescribe when appropriate, and manage follow-up care within scope of practice.
Apply evidence-based medicine to provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
Collaborate with support staff to ensure efficient visits and a positive patient experience.
Document accurately and efficiently in the EMR.
