About The Position

BayCare Medical Group is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our growing Gastroenterology team and play a key role in launching an innovative Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Specialty Clinic. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced provider with a strong background in the management and treatment of IBD to help develop a new service line while practicing within a well-established and highly respected Gastroenterology practice. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with GI physicians and multidisciplinary team members while maintaining a high level of autonomy in patient care. Plans are in place to acquire an Intestinal Ultrasound (IUS). Call responsibilities include 4 days each month and 1 weekend a month.

Requirements

Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
Current Florida APRN or PA licensure (or eligibility for licensure).
National certification as an APRN or PA.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Gastroenterology, with specific experience managing patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).
Strong knowledge of current IBD treatment protocols, biologic therapies, and disease monitoring.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience participating in clinical research or clinical trials.
Prior experience within a specialty GI or IBD-focused practice.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
