Requirements

  • Preferred minimum of 1 year of current clinical experience
  • Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
  • Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have the ability to work independently
  • Have the ability to function as a member of a multidisciplinary team, handling a variety of tasks and duties
  • Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees.
  • Must demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills
  • Must handle confidential material with sensitivity, maturity, and discretion
  • Have competency with electronic medical record system and knowledge using clinical applications
  • Must have completed a certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Must have updated Maryland license: Maryland PA License or Maryland NP Certification

Responsibilities

  • The Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary health care team to provide comprehensive care for our patients.
  • The Practitioner will focus on disease education and management, improving quality of patient care and patient outcomes, expanding access to care, and assisting with care coordination.
  • The Practitioner will coordinate the care of patients, communicate effectively, and collaborate with physicians and other health care professionals.
  • The Practitioner will work on an as needed bases, which may include evenings and weekends.
  • Will accept PA or NP candidates.
