Under the clinical direction of the Medical Director of Employee & Occupational Health Services and in collaboration with EOHS operational leadership, the Advanced Practice Provider—Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant—provides occupational and employee health services across Brown University Health. The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for evaluation of and development of treatment plans for the care of ambulatory patients and employees. Assists in the care and management of employees and patients to include, but not limited to, history and physical examinations, ongoing assessment and intervention, occupational injury and illness management, regulatory medical surveillance, fitness-for-duty evaluations, and coordination of care following emergency department visits.
