About The Position

Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, is a nationally ranked academic, quaternary care system based in Chicago's western suburbs. With its main campus at Loyola University Medical Center, Loyola Medicine is part of a comprehensive three-hospital system including Loyola University Medical Center, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, and MacNeal Hospital. This role serves as the primary APP for vascular surgery while providing cross-coverage support for Breast Surgery and Plastic Surgery services. The APP will deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care, including patient assessments, pre- and post-operative management, chronic disease follow-up, wound care, inpatient rounding, consultations, and discharge planning. Working collaboratively with surgeons, nursing staff, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams, the APP will help ensure high-quality, patient-centered care, improve access to services, and support surgical program growth. Ideal candidates will have strong clinical judgment, experience managing complex surgical patients, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care across the continuum of care.

Requirements

• Master's Degree
• 3-5 years of previous job-related experience
• CPR – (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
• Current Registered Nurse License - State of Illinois (RN)
• Nursing Practitioner License – State of Illinois (APN)
• Physician Assistant License – State of Illinois (PA)
