Riverside Medical Group is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at Riverside Primary Care Midtown in Williamsburg, Virginia. As part of our expanding primary care network, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families across all stages of life.
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner: Master’s in Nursing
- NP License
- NP Certification
- Physician Assistant: Master’s Degree
- PA License
- Meet comprehensive and professional standards
- Hold a current, valid medical license in the state of Virginia (or be eligible to obtain one)
- Possess a valid DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages.
- Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions
- Conducting annual wellness visits and routine physical exams
- Managing chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, and obesity
- Administering age-appropriate immunizations and preventive screenings
- Performing well-woman exams, including birth control counseling
- Educating patients on health maintenance, lifestyle changes, and disease prevention
- Collaborating with physicians, specialists, and care teams to ensure coordinated, holistic care
