Requirements
- Current State Medical License
- DEA Registration
- Controlled Substance Registration, as applicable
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current national certification
- Current ACLS and PALS certification
- Minimum one year of Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or comparable acute care experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience performing common urgent care procedures, including laceration repair, incision and drainage, splinting, wound care, and foreign body removal
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages
- Develop evidence-based treatment plans
- Perform common urgent care procedures, including: Laceration repair, Incision and drainage, Splinting, Wound care, Foreign body removal, Other office-based urgent care procedures
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, radiology teams, and clinical support staff
- Deliver a patient-centered experience focused on quality, safety, and service excellence
