About The Position

Overlake Clinics is expanding its Hospitalist program and seeking a per diem Advanced Practice Provider to join its dedicated Hospitalist/Nocturnist team. This role is an essential part of the 24/7 onsite Hospitalist and Nocturnist physician teams, focusing on providing exceptional crossover for the Inpatient team. The APP will perform admissions from the ED, including treatment plan development and note creation, working collaboratively with the hospitalist as a team. Other duties within the APP's scope of practice may be assigned by the Hospitalist Medical Director. No procedures are required, and 24/7 in-house Intensivists are available.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited NP/PA program
Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Washington RN/ARNP or PA license by time of hire
ACLS Certification
Current DEA
Three years of inpatient experience
Experience with EPIC or other EMR highly preferred

Nice To Haves

Three years of hospital inpatient experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional crossover for the Inpatient team
Perform admissions from ED, including treatment plan development and note creation
Work with hospitalist as a team
Perform other duties within APP scope of practice as assigned by the Hospitalist Medical Director
